Practice Opportunities

While Julia Hartman started the BAN TACS group she no longer owns any of the practices. This allows her the freedom to travel to each practice and help with training, seminars and covering for practitioners when they are on holidays. She is also constantly developing the web site and promoting the business by newspaper articles. She is available to coach new practitioners and to talk through complex issues. As she has a large network of experts she can access to get answers.

Now this may sound like a Franchise opportunity but Julia really doesn’t like that word and believes she has eliminated the unsavoury side of Franchising. Firstly there is no up front fee to join and either party can cancel the agreement at one month’s notice. During the term of the agreement the practitioner will have the exclusive right to use the BAN TACS name in their allotted area. The areas are so large that there is ample opportunity to open many practices which you can sell at any time. The distance between practices ensures that BAN TACS practitioners are never in competition with each other so they can work together. There are many economies of scale with all the benefits of being part of a large firm but each practice having total independence.

Business generated from the web site or Julia’s promotional activities will be directed to the nearest BAN TACS office. All BAN TACS practices will have a profile on the Web site and be entitled to use all the publications and support material.

The main cost of becoming a BAN TACS practice is 20% of your total growth payable annually or on termination of the agreement. Other costs such as registering your BAN TACS name, putting your practice profile on the web site and Julia’s remuneration if she relieves you while you are on holidays are not included in this 20%. The full details of the agreement will be negotiated on an individual basis. The arrangement is so mutually beneficial that there is very little need for these agreements to be restrictive. We are all part of a team with the same goal.
